Founders hiring their first ten
You do not need an HR system yet, you need the facts about your team in one place and not in WhatsApp.
Hire, hold the record, run payroll and keep attendance, leave and onboarding in one place.
$10 per user / month, or included in Dockly One.
A team record should be written once, when someone is hired, and read everywhere after that — by the payroll run, by the books, by whoever is approving leave on a Friday afternoon. Dockly People is where that record lives, and where payday happens.

Attendance, leave and onboarding stop being three trackers that disagree with each other.
Approve leave, see who is in, and find the document you need without asking someone to look it up.
Every capability needs product sign-off before launch.
Roles, candidates and offers tracked through to acceptance, so the person who joins is already the person in the system rather than a form someone fills in afterwards.
One profile per person covering role, reporting line, location, salary and documents, with permissions deciding who sees which parts.
Run pay from the same record that holds the salary, the joining date and the declarations, so a month-end run is a review rather than a data-gathering exercise. TDS is computed from that data and the cost posts to Books.
Requests, approvals and balances in one flow, with the exceptions surfaced rather than buried in a monthly export.
A checklist that starts itself when someone accepts, so the laptop, the accounts and the paperwork are not remembered on day one.
Offer letters, contracts and policy acknowledgements stored against the person they belong to, signed through Dockly Sign.
See the shape of the team as it actually is, and keep reporting lines current as people move.
People update their own details, download their payslips and check their leave balance without going through you.
The reason People needs less of your time than the tool you use today.
No. Payroll is part of Dockly People, because it runs off the same record that holds salary, joining dates and declarations — separating them would mean keeping two copies of the same facts in step. Talk to us about what your payroll looks like today and we will tell you exactly what is covered.
Only the roles you grant it to. Permissions are set per role rather than per person, and access to sensitive fields is logged.
Yes. Self-service covers contact details, bank details and document downloads, with anything that affects pay routed for approval.
Their record is retained for as long as employment law and your own policy require, access is revoked, and the final settlement flows to Books like any other payroll event. Retention periods are set out in the Privacy Policy.
